This morning a package was delivered to our Tow Yard in Santa Rosa coming from AAA in Emeryville. The package is not the reason for this Blog, nor is it AAA but rather, the condition and appearance of the shipping companies van that they delivered the package in. Trust me, we understand the costs of running a fleet, keeping them looking nice, running good and all that those entail.

As you know, we here at Yarbrough Bros Towing have a Medium Duty Tow Truck here in Santa Rosa Towing pretty busily since 2007. However, it does not only do commercial accounts for contractors, delivery trucks, landscape trucks and trailers, it will often tow other Tow trucks. We have had over the years, the opportunity if you will, to tow on over 24 occasions several other companies tow trucks as well as our own. It is always funny to see the looks on other peoples faces when i drive by in tow with another tow truck. It is unfortunate, but it does happen.

As the fair is winding down here in Santa Rosa, Towing has been relentless. Especially going out of town. It seems whenever the fair comes to town, the frequency of out of town tows goes up. Ideally, towing in Santa Rosa would be a local tow, or just towing to the surrounding neighborhoods. Any tow going more than 15 to 20 miles out of the way is a drain on a resources as that equipment is more than likely not coming back with a paying load. Yarbrough Bros Towing often tows to Sebastopol, Windsor, Petaluma, Healdsburg and Cloverdale towing two to three times a day.

Thought i would share a compliment that we here at Yarbrough Bros Towing received the other day from a mom of a new high school graduate. Back ground of the story is we got a call from a recently graduated High School Senior who's car had broke down out here in Santa Rosa and she needed to get back home to Cloverdale. Anyway, her car would not start late at night and she was at a friends house so she started calling around for help. Our night driver responded and towed her, a friend and her car with out any complications or difficulties back to Cloverdale.

It was brought to my attention the other day that Yarbrough Bros Towing is well known not only for its commitment to customer service, our cutting edge training and equipment or the sheer professionalism with which we conduct all aspects of our business but also on the plain fact that we are affiliated with the AAA Road Service program. Our yellow trucks are running 24 hours a day serving not only Sonoma County residents in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati and the surrounding areas but we service and tow AAA members exclusively in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park.

With the recent expansion that Yarbrough Brothers Towing has experienced, we now are running a total of nine Mobile Battery Service vehicles on any given day in Santa Rosa. These vehicles and the technicians driving them, can respond to your place of business, residence or location of breakdown and efficiently test your car or trucks battery and charging system to determine if a battery replacement is required or if your alternator is doing its job. They can also diagnose whether your starter motor is operating properly.

Emergency Road Service can be anyone of the many services we here at Yarbrough Bros Towing provide to the motoring public in Santa Rosa on an hourly basis. The call could be for a tire change on a busy street, Highway or Freeway. It could be for Fuel Delivery or a jump start, it could be for a tow or it could be simply for a lock out of your vehicle. This last service, lockouts, reminds me of one just last Tuesday night where we were responding to a newer Ford Mustang that the customer could not get into her car.

With the recent news of FACEBOOK going public with its stock, it got me to thinking about the uses of FACEBOOK in our small business but also for customers and people who spend some time on the social media network. Yarbrough Bros Towing has had a company page on FACEBOOK for a couple years now and it is mostly there for friends and family to keep in touch, hear road warnings and alerts and play some fun games to win Yarbrough Bros Towing sweatshirts, t shirts or hats every now and then.

The other day we here at Yarbrough Bros Towing received a a call to Tow a Isuzu box truck from Cloverdale up north to Santa Rosa. Now a bit of back ground on types of towing.

Although the local weather is starting to feel more like winter, Sonoma County did have a few hot days earlier this month and they reminded me of a tow Towingsantarosa that we did where a vehicle had overheated and the customer had been waiting for quite some time for an obscure road club. The customer had elected to call us directly and when Yarbrough Bros Towing responded quickly, she was very relieved. Apparently the other company that was called to help her, was not going to be there for over an hour and she had already been on the side of the road for close to 30 minutes.
